Partners in Education's Student Internship program gives local businesses the opportunity to provide job experience to junior and senior high school students who have gone through a job readiness training program.

Some details about the program:

• Your $800 investment gets you 80 hours of support from a job-ready high school junior or senior. All interns have taken an extensive two-month long job readiness training program.
• Partners in Education manages payroll and provides worker’s comp insurance.
• The program has seen great success in South County with many businesses repeat clients for hosting interns, and are looking to expand more into North County as they have a lot of student interest but are in need of more business hosts.
• Businesses that are not ready to host an intern but still want to be involved in the program can sponsor another business to host an intern for $800.
