To maximize the exposure of local job opportunities and best match those seeking employment, the Santa Maria Valley Chamber has partnered with Allan Hancock College on their skills-based, career services app: Career Connect powered by Jobspeaker! This app aims to simplify and optimize the job search process for both employers looking to post a job and those seeking employment.

Posting a Job Opportunity

Getting Started:

To post a job, you'll need to first create an account with JobSpeaker.

  1. Visit and click on "log in" in the top right-hand corner
  2. Click the "Employers" link under "Need an Account"
  3. Fill out the required information, and you're in!

Post a Job, Internship, or Work-Based Learning Opportunity:

Once you've created an account, you'll be able to post a job.

  1. Click on the dashboard
  2. Select the "post job" icon in the top right corner
  3. Complete the job form and begin posting!

A Career Center Specialist at Allan Hancock College will approve your profile and be available to support you in your search for the right candidate. We are certain Jobspeaker's comprehensive search system will help you find candidates with profiles and skills that best match your workforce needs.
